Hey everyone — I’m Tom, the maker behind FetishFurniture.

I build handcrafted BDSM furniture, with a focus on foldable spanking benches and bondage horses. Everything I make is designed for real use: solid construction, comfort where it matters, and clean, functional design.

I’m new to Spicerack as a seller, but not new to building. I’ve been refining these designs for years and wanted a platform that made sense for fetish-specific work without having to water it down.

I’m here to learn how this marketplace works, connect with other sellers, and get a feel for what buyers here care about most — especially when it comes to larger, handcrafted pieces.

If you’re a seller who’s been here a while, I’d love to hear:

Hi Tom! Love your work! Welcome aboard! Some recommendations are great quality photos and imagery that capture shoppers’ attention. Adding keywords in the title of each of your products, such as BDSM, Bondage Furniture, and etc, will totally help with SEO and driving traffic to your shop. I know its not always possible but shipping internationally will definitely help as well :slight_smile: . Hope this helps Tom!

I’m actively working on improving product photography and imagery, and I’ll be refining titles and keywords to better reflect terms like BDSM and bondage furniture for discoverability. International shipping is also something I’m evaluating as I continue to grow on the platform.

I don’t have much experience in selling larger products, but it’s impressive you offer free shipping for your items.
I think images are your best friend in standing out. Not only making the products look enticing, but having easy to read infographics. Most customers don’t read the description, but they will browse the photos, so have the sizing, materials used and any other bullet points you want to make sure the customer sees is a great practice.

What’s you favorite tip?
